Quality management principle no. 2: Leadership

Leaders strive to establish unity of purpose and direction by exemplifying the organization’s values. They facilitate teamwork and help to improve the communication between employees. In addition, leaders should recognize their employees’ strengths and help them develop further through comprehensive training. Furthermore, leaders provide people with the required resources and authority to act. A responsible leadership ensures that employees do everything in their power to achieve the organization’s quality objectives.
